Overview
Whatever area of dentistry you practice, treatment of endodontic pain is an important part of our job. This could involve merely prescribing some medications or be as much as providing active treatment.
The aim of this talk is to provide clinicians with clinical tips on how to actively treat endodontic pain, as well as educate them, on the most effective medications for endodontic pain.

Dr. Omar Ikram

Dr. Omar Ikram graduated from Otago University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. He also obtained a Masters of Clinic Dentistry at Guys Hospital in Endodontics.
Dr. Omar has served as an examiner for the Final exams at the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and has held leadership positions such as Secretary-Treasurer for the NSW branch of the Australian Society of Endodontology. He has contributed to the dental literature as a reviewer for journals like the Australian Endodontic Journal and the Malaysian dental journal. He has achieved significant milestones, such as passing MClinDent and MRD in endodontology with merit, and having a paper published in the International Endodontic Journal.
Dr Omar has also co-created a smart phone and tablet App called ENDOPREP to aid in education and pre-planning of endodontic cases. These tools have built in the American academy of endodontists criteria to warn the operator of impending difficulty.
Throughout his career, he has earned accolades and invitations for distinction oral examinations, showcasing his exceptional performance and commitment to excellence.
